![]() ![]() As I haven’t seen the code I’m thinking it just depends on the time of day that a respawns. However if you kill one of the spiders there’s no guarantee that it’s going to respawn back where it typically sleeps (where you want to trap them) rather than somewhere along its typical wandering path. Just wanted to let you know that it’s not a crazy respawn thing. Two of them are typically sleeping under the oak tree itself during the day and the other one sleeps in between the roots on the pond side of the tree. I honestly can’t remember if there was only two during some of the earliest early access versions or not. There has been three wolf spiders around the oak tree for a long time now. Allow us to use the game within a realistic frame.I was so proud to figure out how to trap that damned spider, and now I see that it was pointless.Ĭhange this. I'll have a tree full of spiders soon, at this rate. I could be forgiving if the spiders were breaking down my walls, but it's pretty obvious that there HAS to be a spider patrolling the area, no matter what. Some quick thinking and quicker feet allowed me to open a gate for him, and trap him inside with the other one! Huzzah!! True freedom! No I can finish my tree-adjacent mini-mansion and relax to enjoy some unhindered exploration, right? Right?!! WHAT? A THIRD spider? Ah.I see.every time I trap one, another is spawned a day or so later. Okay, so there must be two spiders! No problem! My patient waiting was rewarded by spider number two trying to get under the oak to join his mate. After realizing that I could trap the wolf spider under the oak, I did so joyously and reveled in my newfound freedom to roam the area! I started building a lovely little waterfront base.what's this? Another wolf spider? Is there a break in my prison? Nope.all exits sealed, and spider visible inside. ![]()
